How is X-Seal different from other tapes and caulk?
X-Seal roof sealing tape won’t dry out or extrude like caulk or butyl tapes, and works well between both similar and dissimilar construction materials.
How does it work?
Simply place X-Seal sealing tape in the unwanted gap and pull the pressure sensitive adhesive. It can expand from ¼” to 1 ¼” for use on hips, valleys and ridges.
Is it breathable?
X-Seal sealing tape has many excellent characteristics, but its ability to hold the exterior out and the interior in while allowing vapors to move through may be its greatest asset. A hermetic seal allows for both absorption and release of moisture when the conditions make it necessary.
