Dekstrip is compatible with most materials and can successfully flash between brick, fibre cement, galvanised steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and concrete.
For square ducts, chimneys, and skylights, expand one edge and use separate stips, lapped and joined, to seal around the penetration.
For large round pipes, flash in one go, stretching the lower edge to fit. Join using fasteners or sealant.
After installation, and preferably after a period of weathering, Dekstrip can be painted with any good quality 100% acrylic paint after priming with an epoxy resin-based primer.
